My husband and I brought our 3 year old granddaughter to The Bull for an early supper. Her favourite is mac and cheese and the one at The Bull was one of the best that we have ever had at a restaurant. Her child portion was large enough for suppper with some leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband and I ordered the Bangalor Cod and the Shepherds Pie.Both were beautifully serve, delicious and plentiful. Kudos to the chef!! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Took my white-azz out for dinner last night..... This is a portuguese restaurant in the middle of a poor working class area that dishes out some very good food. I had the grilled seabass (fantastic) and my wife had a steak also good. The wine selection is honest and earthy with emphasis on portuguese and well priced. We come here to celebrate our one year anniversary and only because they have $1 oysters after 5pm. We figured we would have a 5 or 6 dozen and then head out to a lite dinner and some dancing. We never left Biffs. From the amazing service to having the evening manager come over to talk to us, everything here was wonderful. We ended up eating 8 dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne andtwo bottles of wine as well as the Scotch Eggs, Oh me oh my the scotch eggs here are to die for and you will not regret ordering them. We stayed for 5 hours enjoying thre ambience and each others talks. At the end of the night ( we closed the restaurant ) they brought us a complimentry dessert with happy anniversary wriiten in chocolate on it. Nice touch! I highly recommend this restuarant for dinner, business or personal. $1 oysters people! You cant go wrong. Amazing service Fresh and tasty food What are you waiting for? Make a reservation now! lol.
