Fabulous food! I have walked by on several occasions and was certainly not disappointed when finally trying their place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and with skill. The real buffalo mozzarella in the caprese is a nice change and the lamb was cooked perfectly. Ambiance was nice and relaxed, not overly noisy. Waiters are very nice and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Biagio himself was nice enough to introduce himself at our table; A very pleasant surprise. Apparently they have monthly wine tasting events too. We will definitely return. This used to be our local pub until we moved away. Great atmosphere in an old house building, great prices and decent food. Loved sitting by one of the fireplaces with a pint and a Dodger Club (with real turkey, not deli slices). The staff was very friendly and over the years we got to know many of them. Found this place one morning after a party and had breakfast with a friend. Loved the food, loved the decor. Restaurant is clean and the food is adequately priced for their downtown location. You don't feel rushed to finish up and get out - the chef guy even left a pot of coffee on our table so we could refill it ourselves. The chef guy does have an attitude but he is not obnoxious. Sometimes he gets bored and will eavesdrop on your conversation and make commentary, or crack a few jokes with you. He is authentic, and so is his restaurant.
