The nachos are to die for, and I don't even like nachos very much. The menu was severely limited due to the incredible business that is Pride Week, and I was at a stretch finding something vegetarian and to my liking. After being told that they were accepting no substitutions (understandably, but I just wanted no mayo and onion on the veggie burger), I went with my second choice, the curry. I wasn't expecting much, but it succeeded my expectations. Not fantastic and it needed more than a sprinkle of salt, but pleasant nonetheless. Co-diners raved about their nachos and pulled pork. Service was a bit scattered due to business, but were very friendly. When a beer was brought to our table that wasn't ordered -- but welcomed! -- he let us have it on the house. Very cool little up-scale "hole in the wall" to hit after a show for some good wines by the glass, and a little to munch (great cheese plates) etc. It has a slick, hip, modern vibe/atmosphere going for it.... not too bright, not to dark... We went to a late dinner (girls night out). Our server was great super nice. The belly dancers we awesome!!! They pulled us onto the dance floor with them, It was a good entertaining night in the city. Mind you the food was only Good for the price $$$$ 65 dollars just for me and I had no drinks with that:( big time downer. Atmosphere was great though. Big bench like table areas with pillows. Nice! The best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The only restaurant on Gerrard with a constant line up (and think how many restaurants there are). A great buffet, always being replenished. Great variety of flavours and presentations. The bread is out of this world. If you order from the menu, the selection is even better.
