Steve is the owner and good friend of mine for 18 years. My mother is ill with cancer and Steve often drops by to bring her a tea and help her do things I cannot while I'm at work. He spent a whole day cleaning her windows inside and out and 8 months later they are still spotless. I recommend him as a friend and very trustworthy gentleman. He is my only friend I trust with a key to my home. He is a single father who works a lot and very hard. He deserves my recommendation not as a friend, but as a stand up guy who wants to succeed to build a brighter future for his son. He has been running his business for 3 years, and he also works a full time job. His services unfortunately can only be offered on weekends due to his full time job, but that goes to show how hard he works to be successful. Please take Steves business into consideration before hiring someone who may not put as much passion into the work they do. Read more

Love Dickson Home hardware! They are just up the road from me and literally have everything and then some. Whatever I need whether it is wire mesh for the water feature, salt in the winter, closet hooks , I can find it here. I once came looking for the oddest product to get rust off of a quartz rock and sure enough they knew what it was and had it. I often know what I want but not what it is, they have tons of friendly staff always close at hand who actually know . Most recent purchase -A Green Egg for hubbie as a surpise! They kept my secret for a few months even when my husband went and visited, they delived when they said they would (free of charge too!) and set it all up. Bunch of really nice people and they are open late which is good for those of us who decide to do something at 7pm at night lol! Read more

I ordered some heavy glass for a couple of cabinets a while back and I continue to be impressed with the quality of product I received for a very reasonable price and a very short wait. As it happened, I had to return a piece that wasn't quite flush (the measurement was tricky). I took it back and I was most impressed with the customer service I received. There was no hassle, no haggle and no extra charge. The piece was re-cut within a few minutes and I went home happy. My wife and I had issues with the first company we hired to do our windows, so we went on-line to find a company to do our front door. Anthony was very helpful in selceting the door style, colour and glass options for our sidelights. There were some issues with the colour of the door when it was delivered, but Anthony was very fast to rectify the situation. The installers were very professional and effeciant. I highly recommend Moncada if you're looking for a new door. When budget allows I'm going to have them back to do our eavestroughs. Read more
