This restaurant location has undergone many incarnations. Some good, some very good,and some really not good. Under the current owners, the food is very good. There are two versions of Hot and Sour soup, one is the "traditional" one and the other a seafood one. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood version. The shrimp are fresh and just nicely done. The last review was pretty ignorant. They were doing a staff training night from what Im told so thats why they were closed at 730 PM. The next day they opened. Typical opening issues but my first experience at this location was pretty good, room for improvement but what new opening restaurant doesn’t.

Went for dinner and drinks on a date and loved it. The atomosphere is very seductive and romantic. We found easy cheap parking at the TELUS convention centre and enjoyed a nice evening walk down Stephen Avenue on the way to the Restaurant (especially pretty during Christmas). The food was delicious. It was a great, romantic evening out that leaves you craving to go back.

My husband and I were at the Cross Eyed Giraffe Cafe yesterday for the grand re-opening. It was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. Our hamburgers were juicy and the serving sizes were more than ample. We will definitely return for the freshly baked pies, or perhaps a coffee and a cinnamon roll. We visited Applebees Sunridge on a Sunday around 4:3pm. It seemed busy but we were seated quickly. Our server was pleasant & got our order correct. The appetizers came through quickly & were delicious. Our steak meals were cooked as requested & other 2 meals were perfect! We chose from the 3 meals for $30 1 appetizer 2 main & 3 for $35 again 1 appetizer 2 main. Fantastic value & great food & service. Pleasant atmosphere & nicely decorated. The lounge had sports on & many big TV's. Very happy!
