I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? We come here to celebrate our one year anniversary and only because they have $1 oysters after 5pm. We figured we would have a 5 or 6 dozen and then head out to a lite dinner and some dancing. We never left Biffs. From the amazing service to having the evening manager come over to talk to us, everything here was wonderful. We ended up eating 8 dozen oysters, a bottle of champagne andtwo bottles of wine as well as the Scotch Eggs, Oh me oh my the scotch eggs here are to die for and you will not regret ordering them. We stayed for 5 hours enjoying thre ambience and each others talks. At the end of the night ( we closed the restaurant ) they brought us a complimentry dessert with happy anniversary wriiten in chocolate on it. Nice touch! I highly recommend this restuarant for dinner, business or personal. $1 oysters people! You cant go wrong. Amazing service Fresh and tasty food What are you waiting for? Make a reservation now! lol. I found this place to be better decorated than some of its other location. There are booths on the far right side. There are also two large round tables for larger parties. Near the center of the restaurant is a fish aquarium. The lighting is a bit dimmer. This restaurant does look a bit ancient. However, the food is good. I love its crispy spring rolls. Soup'n Such was one of the greatest chance encounters I've had in a long time.I was in the area for a doctors appointment and went out in search for some healthy, home stile food, and I found it! Soup'n Such makes everything from scratch. They roast their own meats, make all their dressings, put real fruit & vegetables into the smoothies, (best of all) they make every soup on the menu from scratch - adding the bare minimum of salt so you can add to taste. To many people this cooking may appear bland, because we are in an age where foods have an excess about of salt/sugar etc... But for me I would rather add to taste then have too much added before hand. Lastly and most importantly, the thing that will have me returning over an over is...There are No Preservatives in there homemade foods! For me this is a diamond in the rough, reason being, i have a preservative allergy. Check'em out they are worth it! And remember if it seems bland, that means it's all the more fresher ;) Read more
