On Sat 270419 the TD branh in SELKIRK MB.refused to take my cheque for Income Tax owing because I did not have an acct there. CRA says any bank can accept your payment regardless of where your acct is. MY last three payments for income tax owing have been at financial institutions where i had no account. Went into speedy on Saturday to repair my rearview mirror that had fallen off. I tried to repair it myself and surprisingly to no one but myself did it wrong. They informed me they could repair my mistake for $15. I thought that was a great price as it cost me $10 to do it wrong. Me and my two sons waited about 5 minutes and the repair was done. We were informed that there would be no charge and I should take the boys out for ice cream with the $15 I saved. Small acts of kindness like this need to be recognized.
