If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. I visited West with a friend that had been there a couple of times before. The outside of the restaurant was very unassuming. You would have no idea that there was a fantastic restaurant inside. Parking may be an issue as it's a busy streetfront but they did seem to have valet. We sat at the bar and had cesars until our table was ready--made fresh with muddled tomato right in front of our eyes. The food was all amazing both in appearance and taste. REALLY good. We came here on a weeknight, for a friends birthday it was quite busy despite what we had heard. The atmosphere was very good, sort of bustling. The service was quite good as well even though they seemed very busy.
