The food always seems to be good in my experience here. I typically order pulled pork poutine (very good, unique), burgers, wraps, etc. I've never been disappointed during my somewhat extended history of visiting the pub.
The decor is very busy, typical of brit pubs here, and the service is friendly and timely, not overbearing.
Food waiting times are suitable and I've never heard anyone in my party of regulars complain of flat beer, dirty glasses, or hair in their food, as other reviews here indicate.
They do have a patio, albeit small and fills up fairly quickly during lunch hour or immediately after work.

I enjoyed working at this location for several hours. No one harrassed me about using the table for so long and the food was tasty and healthy so I didn't feel like I'd overindulged. That is, until a young Williams representative approached me and gave me a free Belgian Waffle slathered in ice cream. I certainly couldn't eat the whole thing; but now I know a great idea for treating the kids the next time we're out!

I've been to Harry's on multiple occasions with different groups of people. Have been pleasantly suprised each time with great food and excellent service. The pizza is homemade and very tasty. Wings are good, but not their specialty. Pasta is excellent is as well. Beer on tap is fresh (usually have Stella) and haven't had any issues. This is a great place to visit for lunch, after work with the guys (they have pool tables upstairs) or on a date with that special girl. A rare treat!

I visit this location on a regular basis since I live in the area! First time I visited this location, one of the bartenders asked my name, and remembered it the next time i visited! All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! This location has a lot of daily features and drink specials which me and my friends enjoy...Food has always been good, and if there is anything ever wrong or not up to my satisfaction the management and staff make sure it is dealt with so I leave satisfied. Overall great location, close to downtown core, and a good place for grill or pub type food and drinks!

I ate here a lot when I went to university in Waterloo in the late 60's. I was back just a few weeks ago and it is just the same. It felt like a slice of heaven to have one of their burgers and fryed onions again. Met the 4th generation of owners. Not the prettiest place but by far the best food. Keep up the great tradition.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this place. Food is amazing every time, servers are friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is very casual. Ye's sushi is probably one of the best places in the whole K-W area to get sushi. It is truly a wonderful experience. The service was good, nothing to complain. The atmosphere was not all that good, but all of those dissapointments were made up in the food. The food is phenomenal; there is nothing thats "adequate" about it. It is really a "one of a kind" experience for any of you that haven't had sushi. The portions are nicely sized, and overall well worth the money. Would I visit again? Absolutely!

We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of.
Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia. So long as you don't mind that it is mostly a student hangout (and we "old fogies" don't mind at all).

I just ordered from kam yin for the first time tonight. Solely because I was lazy, it’s NYE and I did not want to drive cuz it was cold! lol
I was very surprised how good the food is, had the dinner for 4(a)
Not salty, the chicken balls where pretty much all chicken!!!!! The veg was crispy and cooked well! Only thing greasy( a lil was the wontons) but everything was way better than expected! If it was this good on NYE, I’ll Definitely be eating there again!!!!

Despite living close to Horizon for several years, we have only recently discovered it. Good quality food and plenty of it! We love the breakfasts as well as the dinner items. Really frendly servers and a warm welcome. Locals love it, and the line out the door on Sunday mornings tells its own story. It's consistently good.
The belly buster burger is as good as any burger I've had anywhere. Highly recommended.
