I called around to get quotes on fixing my laptop. Since I wanted to also get the laptop fixed locally, I asked if they would meet this rate that other BBB shops were charging. These guys agreed to match the price for me (another location refused and wanted to charge $50 higher than the BBB rate). Excellent knowledge and customer service. Just can’t say enough good about my Weber Summit purchase experience and the immediate response to hidden damage when the carton was opened at home. The damaged machine was replaced with a fully assembled and tested unit at my home within a few hours. This mobile technician is a very good idea for a service for seniors in today's world. I read the other ratings and I agree that Techs On Time should get six stars. I was needing to find out if some papers were delivered. I called twice but went to voicemail. Beevan called me back because I didnt leave a message. I lost my tracking paper and he stayed on the phone with me until we tracked the item down (without a date of being sent) and gave me the information I needed. You rock Beevan!

When I moved back to Vancouver I decided that my fresh start should include new furniture. I spent a LOT of time looking around different stores. Most of the places I went I found the staff were pushy (which is not my style) and followed me around the store but when I went into Scan Design the sales staff were fabulous. Not pushy at all, they didn't stalk me while I was looking around, but yet they were easy to find when I did need some help.
I'm so happy with the furniture that I ended up purchasing. But what I especially love is how patient the staff were with me (I must have made 4 trips back and forth between the store and my townhouse, measuring furniture to make sure it would fit my place). Even better was the fact that the furniture was delivered by probably the most polite delivery-crew I've encountered in my life (and I've moved a lot of times). My delivery was scheduled to be between 10 AM - and Noon, and they were actually there at 9:45.
The day before my furniture was to be delivered, I got a phone call to say that my dining room chairs weren't going to be included but before I could freak out and say "where are my guests going to sit for Christmas dinner" he said "we have 8 replacement chairs for you, I'm sorry that they aren't the colour you ordered. You can keep these chairs until yours arrive. When your chairs come in we'll pick up the loaners and drop off the ones you ordered." I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised to discover that the loaner chairs were the same style that I ordered, they were just the wrong colour. And, they weren't old or used chairs, they were actually new chairs. I didn't have to pay for the loaners or the extra delivery fee. I'm still impressed by the service I received.
If I ever move into a bigger house and need more furniture, I'll definitely be back to Scan Designs.
