If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Excellent friendly staff! specifically at this location. Unlike the reviewer below( believe she has the wrong store altogether )The severs remember my orders, including the extra toppings I like , and unlike most of the other subways here in Nanaimo, aren't cheap with the toppings . I specifically drive out of my way to go to this store - usually am there when its busy around lunch, but have also gone late in the evening and although the staff has changed , they also have given good service.
