We decided to try Waldos for valentines dinner and was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I selected from the set menu and chose the steak. The appetizers were great, baked brie, smoked salmon salad and lobster bisque were all very nice. Our meal arrived and was cooked to perfection. The steak was exactly as we asked, asparagus was cooked perfectly as were the roasted potatoes.
As our meal was to be followed by attending a play at the Grand Theatre, our time was limited. Joe, our server, was a great representative of the restaurant and ensured that we were served in a timely fashion. Time ran short and since we could not take the set dessert with us... Joe arranged for us to have a different dessert to take with us. Joe was a great guy who helped make the evening a success. The only suggestion would be for the restaurant to have complimentary roses for all the ladies in attendance. We will certainly return again soon.

THE FRESH ROLLS WERE SUPER FRESH -- CRISP AND SERVED WITH 3 DIPPING SAUCES (AS A TREAT!) THE MANGO SALADS WAS FULL OF FLAVOUR BUT SMALL. THE SWEET AND SOUR STIRFRY WAS PERFECT BUT ONLY 6 SHRIMP?! THE YELLOW CURRY WAS A BEAUTIFUL BLEND OF FLAVOURS AND THE JASMINE RICE -- TO DIE FOR! THE SERVINGS WERE ALL SMALL IN COMPARISON TO NORMAL RESTAURANT FEASTS BUT VERY WELL PRESENTED AND COOKED TO ORDER! DESSERTS WERE YUMMY -- COCONUT ICE CREAM AND FRIED ICE CREAM WERE A DELIGHT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE PRICE CONSIDERING THE PORTIONS WERE NOT THAT LARGE -- THE QUALITY HOWEVER WAS WORTH IT!

Great meals. Food was all fresh and high quality. Eggs to order, breakfast meats tasty, coffee is good and ample. Not much atmosphere except for the working class people, mostly men before work or lunch break. Everyone seemed very at ease and unpretentious including the staff who were eager to please. The servers hustle and make sure food is served hot. Thumbs up for good food, clean environment and upbeat atmosphere of patrons and staff

The Dawghouse is an awesome place to be. The wait staff are long-timers and know everyone. It’s a regular Cheers! So many regulars’ daily... including me. Prices are great the best dish is their Fireside Chicken dinner... their BLT. has 1/2 lb of bacon it in and their wings are always cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is so good. Ive been to several sushi restaurants in London including Kawa, Wonder, etc. and Sushi Ya has hands down the best maki and nigiri I've had in the city. Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations.
Fair prices, the box deals are a great value.
The couple that runs it are very pleasant and nice, plus its a really small place, pretty adorable stuff.
Highly recommended to all.

Absolutely fantastic! Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or any romantic occasion. My husband, who is very picky about the food he eats, delighted in an entree of chicken cabarnara, made with fresh hand made pasta. I had the duck confit, which was very tender and delicious. My first visit was pleasant enough. We were greeted right away and accomodated for our party of 5. At first I was not really impressed with only the 'make your own stirfry' option for dinner but was told it was excellent. Tons of selection of meats, veggies and sauces...wasn't sure where to start! Guys at the fryer seemed to really enjoy their jobs, it was very entertaining to watch. Food was really yummy. Atmosphere was alright, didn't really notice any defectives like others are posting. Waitress was somewhat reliable in refilling our drinks. When it comes to tipping, the guys at the fryer really earn theirs however not sure about the waitresses as all they did was bring us water....nothing from the menu was ordered. The only downside to this place is the price (15.99 per person Mon-Thurs is the deal we did) but I guess for others it's an awesome price for the food.
