The Burgers here are great! And the service is so friendly, makes you want to come back again and again. I really have only good things to say about the Arbutus cafe. This place has been a downtown landmark for as long as I can remember and the food is good old fashioned real comfort type food.

This is not just the best restaurant in Courtenay but one of the best I have ever been too. I look forward to trips up island just so I can eat here. The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavour. If you are in the Comox Valley be sure to make the trip into town to check out this local favourite.
Seriously, you can't go wrong with anything here it is all delicious.

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with a relative. The food is amazing. Everything is prepared fresh daily. Had a delicious cream of broccoli soup and fish and chips. The fish was amazing. Homemade batter.Prices are great. Paid $10.00 including coffee. The owner, Sharon, who everyone calls Grandma is a wonderful person and so accommodating. Delivery service also available. Free delivery. If you have a chance to go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
