Probably the best pub food in Guelph. Have eaten their so many times, never been dissapointed. Their menu is huge, and filled with all the pub food you can think of. Service is usually OK. It is a sit yourself bar, you just walk in and sit down and a server will come to you. They have huge booths to the back corner which are great because we always go in a huge group, usually for foreign people, and I find the servers are very understanding and patient compared to other places over the inevitable miscommunications that occur. I have found this place gets a little busy from time to time, so service does slow down, but is still not as bad as other places in guelph. the atmostphere is not bad, but it does get very very very noisy! Combine that with the atmosphere and it was a great dinner, overall. The restaurant is designed like an outdoor courtyard.. there is stuff going on everywhere and much attention to detail has been invested. The Flaming Saganaki was great and the traditional Greek dancing was better! If you go do Blue Mountain definitely try this place out for at least one dinner.. We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of. Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia.
