My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. Of course, it goes without saying that the hamburgers are second to none, and there's chicken and fish if you are that way inclined, but the lesser known salads are the best value in town, especially the Mandarin Chicken salad which, at $6.99, can not be beaten anywhere ... in my opinion. I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Read more

Great Food!! Friendly service! Decided to come back with some friends and tried the combo#2 plate last night. Place was pretty busy. A little bit of a wait but not more than other places considering the size of the place. I'm now a fan of Pupusas. My friends had some combo #1 and some plantains. The Food did not disappoint. The Morrissey House is a staple for good beer and good food in London - one of those places you can recommend to others with confidence. In the summer there is a nice, large patio where you can enjoy a good beer, cider or cocktail. The Morrissey has some good items on their menu, but some of my tried and true favourites are their burger and the mussels. Good selection of Ontario craft brew and a few macro-brewery standards.
