Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad. Read more

This move was our second time using Beacon Movers. I was super pleased with the service yet again. The movers were friendly, professional, efficient, and clearly knew how to move some antique furniture. It also wasn't terribly expensive, so I would definitely use this moving company again, though hopefully I don't have to move again anytime soon. Thanks so much for everything! Read more

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is great family fun. The central part of this attraction is of course the bridge itself. 80 metres above the Capilano River it is often gut-check time to head out on the bridge and take a look over the side as it sways with the other visitors or, worse, the breeze. There isn't much to worry about but it is an exhilarating experience nonetheless. Beyond the bridge there is another equally exhilarating experience in the Treetops Adventure. Picture being high above the forest floor and going from tree to tree on a series of suspension bridges and getting to rest on platforms attached to the trees. Very cool. They have a great gift shop and lots of opportunities to learn about the history of the bridge and the first nations history in the area. A great deal for local residents too is that you can buy an unlimited membership good for a year for the same price as regular admission. Read more
