It's one of our favourite go to places!!??? But this past Saturday was definitely not one of those days. Both my husband n I have been sick since sat night. Throwing up the entire night on sat n Sunday with runs. Not pleasant gotten very weak from something we ate at Joeys don mills n Lawrence. We may need to reconsider. ??? Fantastic food and service. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Steaks were huge and done to perfection. Chicken fingers were homemade, yummy. The best we ever had. The potatoes in the chicken souvlaki were priceless. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try all the other menu items. This place is by far the BEST Restaurant I've ever eaten in!!! and here's why; 1- Unless your extremely hungry, the home cooked portions are so big, you can barely finish, so in most cases there's left overs for the next day. 2- No one in the city comes close to giving you that much food for that price, because no one has this kind of turnover! 3- Everything , even the bacon bits are real, nothing is from a can, the soups are home receipies, and the place is so busy that the food can be any fresher! 4- The servers might be a little on the old side, but you still get your meal faster than any other restaurant I ve ever been to! 5- The seats are real leather, ive seen them watering the plants, and you can custom tailor every part of your meal to suit even the pickiest of eaters. I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go?
