I always thought that the area needed a sushi place, as in the area of Bathurst/Finch and Bathurst/Sheppard there were no sushi places. In fact, the nearest sushi place was located on Yonge St. My family had the AYCE dinner (the dinner is 18.95 from Monday to Thursday and 20.95 for Friday and the Weekend). The sushi quality was really good, and I noticed that many of the other clients chose to order the sushi using the regular menu (the non AYCE option). In addition, The Sashimi slices were really big and very fresh. I also liked the environment of the Restaurant, and found the costumer service to be very good. Try the General Tao Chicken. It comes with a side-sauce so you can select, how much sauce you want on the chicken. The sauce is one of the BEST Chinese sauces, I have had at ANY Asian eatery... Well battered. And good quality chicken. The only dislike is for the lemon and orange chicken, they do over-load on the vegetables, a tad too much. Other than that, I will keep going here for years to come! Prices are great! Fish, Pork, Beef, Chicken, Vegetables... whatever you are in the mood for, I would give everything a try! Starving while walking out from the subway, my boyfriend recommended this place since it was his go to place with his buddies for sushi. I was thinking that since it was a la carte it would be more expensive but surprisingly it wasn't. The place was quite busy and the service was somewhat slow. We ordered 2 supreme bento boxes at 10 dollars a piece and a spicy crunchy california roll as well as extra shrimp tempura. It was more than enough to fill us up and we had leftovers as well. The bacon this restaurant uses is amazing, not salty or greasy, fantastic. The chef was surprisingly young (20's), but sure knows his way around a grill, and old-style/old school cooking. Loved sitting by one of the fireplaces with a pint and a Dodger Club (with real turkey, not deli slices). The staff was very friendly and over the years we got to know many of them. My friends occasionally go for the ramen. They use the less common dark style with a touch of soy sauce in the broth. I'd recommend trying it at least once if you've only had light ramen before. The green tea icecream must be homemade. It's the most fantastic green tea icecream I've ever tasted.
