Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer. Read more

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share. Read more

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. Every time we go we have the same wonderful service, the same wonderful session and the same wonderful results we have come to expect. From the start to the finish this great photo studio takes their job of capturing your family photos seriously. With a wide variety of props including antique sleds, pedal cars, "snow", leaves, stuffed animals and more the photographic artists go out of their way to create unique and individual shots. Each session they truly go above and beyond in creating copious amounts of images for you to choose your favourites to print. And that is always the hardest part! They do their job so well that we often take far too long to choose our favourites! But we never feel rushed to make a decision, we never feel that we are bothering the staff who to a person great to deal with, we just get to decide what images we are going to use to capture our memories.
