I love middle Eastern food but it's hard to find a restaurant that does it good. And my partner's a vegan and there's so much here to eat. The persian chicken plate is made from free-range chicken and smothered in a great selection of spices - i think they said 18 different ones! This is my favorite place for baklava too. Hold the bacon! If you're a bacon fiend, The Village may not be for you but they certainly make up for it with their smoked meat. Smoked meat bennys with a tasty hollandaise, a bagel with lox, and tasy coffee rounded out our Sunday breakfast. We were able to walk right in but a crowd started to form shortly after, so arrive earlier if you don't want to wait. There's limited seating but the restaurant is airy and casual. Grab a seat outside if it's a nice day and enjoy quiant Estevan Village - they even provide blankets for those chilly days! Read more
