I thought that the staff was great, the food was delicious, the wait was not long at all, and the atmosphere was really fun! They had a great menu (much of their ingredients were either local or home-made) and their patio seats have one of the best views of the beach I've ever seen. The place itself was very clean and cozy. I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5 and I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options. Really easy to find as it is just across from the pier. One of the highlights of my trip to the beach and a must try for anybody looking for an awesome place to eat in White Rock. :) Read more

My boyfriend and I lined up here for lunch earlier this month (2nd visit), and had their miso (medium) ramen and he had the shio ramen. We both chose fatty pork which comes with the ramen for added flavour. There are always line-ups outside their door and you can't help but think it must be good if there are a dozen other ramen shops in the same vicinity with zero line-ups at others! They are extremely busy. If you are parking, expect to put enough coins in the meter to stay at least 1.5 hours (line-up time, wait time after ordering, eat time). They are a Japanese run shop with all-Japanese staff, and have the best ramen I have ever had. Next time, I will have their miso ramen (again) with their heavy base for more richness in the broth. Stay away from their gyoza, however. They buy this frozen from a supermarket and it tastes cheap. Read more

After being told horror stories from friends about expensive diesel repairs, I was surprised how quickly the guys figured it out and found the problem was a failing injection computer module. I'm definitely not a high end watch collector, but I do enjoy the more tech-focused pieces. I came in to take a look at a citizen ecodrive watch I was interested in. The girl working there was friendly and not pushy, she let me look around for a bit before approaching me. Once I told her what I was looking for, she pulled a few samples out for me and went through all of them. Very impressed by how much her and her colleague knew about not just citizen, but every brand in the store and how they compare. Will definitely be back in the future. Read more
