My friends and I went after a day of XC skiing and had a wonderful evening. The meal started with a complimentary bowl of homeade chickpea soup topped with fresh cilantro - delicious. I recently retired from the GTA and moved to Lanark Highlands. We decided to try your restaurant last weekend. My girlfriend had the goulash and I had the schnitzel which was the second best I've ever had. The best was my late mother's. But you did come a very close second. The prices I found were reasonable and not overpriced as some patrons would lead you to believe. And if you complain about the wait, remember you're not eating at McDonalds. Had lunch here once and swore it was the best sushi I'd ever had in Ottawa. Ate here a week later and it was good but not great. I admit though that I am a sushi novice. The fish tank was very entertaining to the two young in our party (both under 5 years old) . I had the General Tao chicken with thai noodles and fresh veggies, peppers, snow peas & carrots I am told that is a promotional dish so I really hope they decide to keep it.
