I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? Soup'n Such was one of the greatest chance encounters I've had in a long time.I was in the area for a doctors appointment and went out in search for some healthy, home stile food, and I found it! Soup'n Such makes everything from scratch. They roast their own meats, make all their dressings, put real fruit & vegetables into the smoothies, (best of all) they make every soup on the menu from scratch - adding the bare minimum of salt so you can add to taste. To many people this cooking may appear bland, because we are in an age where foods have an excess about of salt/sugar etc... But for me I would rather add to taste then have too much added before hand. Lastly and most importantly, the thing that will have me returning over an over is...There are No Preservatives in there homemade foods! For me this is a diamond in the rough, reason being, i have a preservative allergy. Check'em out they are worth it! And remember if it seems bland, that means it's all the more fresher ;) Read more
