We just visited Acclamation and I'm inclined to write a review to tell you a honest review. We had such great service and such delicious food! I ordered the risotto and my husband ordered the seafood pasta. I eat risotto where ever I go and I fell in love with this one. (I'm already craving it if you want to know the truth!) The seafood pasta was perfect (yes, my husband shared). You get a large portion of seafood, including lobster! The service was absolutely great. Unfortunately, some people say otherwise (which is disappointing) but the service we received was fantastic. They were quick, efficient and had plenty of smiles. I went to Alfredo's for the first time today because of the rave reviews I have read and it did NOT disappoint! I tried the pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. The taste is authentic Italian and SO fresh! The sauce they use is delicious! Alfredo himself is so friendly and and kind. He makes you feel right at home! I just wish that there was more of a seating area since I live kind of far to come and get it for take-out (which is the main business they do). Wow! Thank you to the amazing staff at Beatties Upper Centennial! Our Chihuahua was attacked by a 85lb German Shepard last night. My husband and I have been to Boo's twice. On both occassions we had a wonderful time and meal (as well as wine). The server was extremely gracious and considerate. He came to check on our meal a couple of times, but was not intrusive whatsoever (allowing for an intimate and romantic evening). The food was delicious. The servings were of good size (in our opinion) -- I was very full when I left, as was my husband. We had crab cakes for an appetizer - these were rich in real crab meat with little filler. As for mains, I had a salmon dish (the special) and my husband had Boo's signature dish (a steak). Ingredients were fresh, and there was a nice serving of vegetables (also flavourful and well done). It is a quiet atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely go back. Read more

I used to live in the neighborhood of this restaurant and would frequent it often. It is certainly not the least expensive Japanese restaurant in the city but I'd be hard pressed to find a better one. The sushi is always fresh and well made, Maki rolls are seasoned with chives and wasabi. Gyoza and Miso Soup are good, as expected, two things that can't really be done wrong. In the past I've had their lunch bento boxes which are a good value and are of the same quality as their dinner menu. Only complaints I'd have about this restaurant: Parking is not provided so you're at the mercy of the local pay lots. Also, when the restaurant gets really busy it gets very tight as it is a small place, and service gets really slow, But with that being said the owners are very kind and friendly. My boyfriend and i are regulars at Mustangs... It is such a fantastic atmosphere...Now this is how you do a bar and grill.... the waitresses are always fantastic. The owner is there on a regular basis to check up on everyone and see how their meals are going. They usually start you out with fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa while you're waiting on your meals. The specials they have are great... Monday & Wednesday nights are wing nights... you can get 2 pounds for the price of 1... If we go on a wing night the bill usually only comes to just over 20$... cant beat that!!.... Tuesday nights are Munchie Nights.... they have a seperate menu for appatizers that are on special.... they are all very delicious... and there is a wide variety.... Thursday nights are all you can eat rib nights... the ribs are very good (as i'm told by my boyfriend, because i'm not a fan of ribs)... Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib nights..... i've never personally had the prime rib, but i've heard its delicious!... and Sunday nights are Fajita nights.... you can get a large portion of fajitas for 2 people... i cant recall the price, but it is very reasonable!... Overall this resturaunt is amazing.... my boyfriend always says "you'd eat here for every meal if you could"... Their Chicken Club is what we usually get.... It is so delicious... fresh chickn breast on a garlic toast french baugette.... we get the French Onion Soup as our sides most of the time... it is the best i've ever had (mind you i just started eating french onion soup... so i haven't had it from a ton of places, however it is the best from here).... We are a huge fan of the Nachos (there is so much toppings on them).. we usually get the chicken ones.... Also the BBQ chicken brachetta is amazing!... If we are feeling like it after our meal we'll ask what the desserts are for the evening... i dont know why we ask, because we always decide on the brownie pail to split between us... it is so great.... fresh warm brownies (4), rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream... its the perfect dessert to end an increadible meal!.... The one thing that i do not like about Mustangs is the Birthday song they blair everytime someone has a birthday!!!!.... We get it.. someone is a year older.... Please just clap and sing.... the sombraros are so funny... but sometimes they play the song way too loud... one time we were sitting right by the speaker... they had a lot of birthdays during that visit.... BAH NA NA NA NA NA... TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY... sometimes i cant get it out of my head.... That is my only complaint... So, good. The food was delicious, though not gastro-pubby, but rather pub grub. It could use new carpeting throughout. The stand out for us was the service. Our server was helpful, knew the menu inside out, and when we asked for some changes to make one of the meals heart healthy they went out of their way to make it happen. We were seated in a quiet corner...easier for my Dad that he didn't have to climb up a step...but there was loud laughter coming from around the corner. Everyone seemed to be greeted by name at the door. Our server was a nice young girl, but everyone paid attention to us, helping to deliver the meal, checking on how we liked our meals.
