Stumbled upon this shop as i was looking for a place to get my car fixed. They were ICBC accredited and the staff was really nice and helpful so i decided to use them. OK, I recently did a review for having my radiator repaired a few days ago. I saved enough money from that repair (vs. OConnor Dodge) to consider doing a separate repair.
The back passenger door lock crapped out sometime ago. I got a quote back in Sep 2019 from OConnor which was $520 including parts/labour/taxes. I highly recommend John’s Mufflerman & Automotive Services. Prior to John’s, took my mechanic 6 hours to repair my resonator (center pipe) & the noise was still bad. A friend suggested John. John suggested we go before noon. It took him 5 minutes to give us 3 options & after selecting an option, took them less than one hour to build the over-axel, tail-pipe, & provide a universal muffler. After their findings I was given a full print out of everything and was gone through everything in detail by Gopi, the Manager at Crompton’s. My wife got into an accident on a Wednesday night. I took the car into Tom’s on Friday and they did their estimate right away. By Monday, Tom’s called me up to set an appointment. I brought it in on Tuesday and they called me Wednesday evening to say it was ready for pick up.
