Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future! Read more

I have been visiting Sushi Mountain for just over 2 years now and I have never had fresher sushi anywhere in Toronto. My husband and I love going for their all you can eat option, which at other places usually isn't so great. I find the white tuna at SM to be some of the best I've ever had (I was very disappointed with my experience in Yorkville after visitng SM). Their tempura has always been fresh and crisp, the handrolls are usually packed with fresh fish and their sushi and sashimi are always freshly made and really flavourful. I've never experienced some of the things that other reviewers have mentioned like bad mayo, etc... The restaurant is usually very quiet even when it is packed with people. The service is fine and the restaurant is typically very clean. There is lots of parking as it is in a strip mall and usually no line up. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't yet. Read more

The food here is your standard family diner fare in terms of quality, nothing special, but the selection is quite varied, Greek food, Italian, English/North American, basic burgers, I can't see anyone going here and not being able to find something they like. But above all is the location, right beside the falls. Sure, when eating on the deck it makes whispered conversation a wee bit difficult, but it's a good noise that's relaxing rather than annoying. My friend and I just had an amazing meal at Dolce Vita. The focaccia was fantastic as was the salad, main course and dessert (Tiramisu & lemon curd). The cappuccino was huge and delicious. The server was great...answered any questions and if he didn't know, he asked the chef. The prices were what you would expect from a high end restaurant so didn't feel they were out of line. Yep, its really that great! This is one of those staples in Lindsay, right on the main street, kinda small and understated; but once you've eaten here you will always come back. Jane's menu is simple, and enjoyable. Everything is always great, service included. They are very accommodating, and fairly priced.
