Whenever visiting my dad in Kingston, we go to this place for Sunday breakfast every time. He goes most Sundays and I know why. The wait staff is friendly, fast and efficient. The food is plentiful, served hot and there is a non-stop filling up of coffee! Prices are very reasonable for the portions. Be warned! This is a VERY popular place, so expect a delay when you get there because a lot of people are regulars and they too have to wait. Omg this place is an absolute Gem! My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner G was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! Visited twice in the last 10 days and LOVED IT. Once was a Saturday afternoon 12:30ish and it was very crowded but lucked into a seat once the food was ready. More recently was a weekday 4:30ish, much quieter but still a few patrons. Either way, food is made to order - might take 5-10 mins. but worth the wait and fun to watch. We have had a total of 2 little burgers and 3 regular (double patty) cheeseburgers so far and they are flavourful, well cooked but tender, so good you can (and want to) taste the meat itself. Buns are soft with a nice chew, sesame seeded. We kept it simple with lettuce, relish, pickles, ketchup but you can go crazy with wide selection of toppings. Fries are in peanut oil, gorgeous brown and slightly crisp but fluffy inside. Huge portion even for regular, as others have said. Nice to see Coke products in the machines and Heinz ketchup for fries. Great spirit among the staff, focused and attentive and seem to be happy to be there, which must be a compliment because the kitchen is wide open for customers to watch the whole scene. The place was kept very clean. There is nothing frozen on site, which explains the fresh taste. Very simple, straightforward menu. No need to consider combos and deals, it's burgers, add drink or fries if you want or not. Keep up the great work and please consider a second location in west end Kingston! Read more

I went in on my lunch break to grab something quick to eat. I never expected such a variety of items on their menu! They have wraps on whole wheat, massive sandwiches on ciabatta buns which are under 10$ with a side! Never have I found such a nice place with great service. I had my wrap (seriously vegetarian) within 15 minutes. Was served nice and warm! Great choices for healthy lunches which are filling, and also treats for those who have a sweet tooth! My friend and I just had an amazing meal at Dolce Vita. The focaccia was fantastic as was the salad, main course and dessert (Tiramisu & lemon curd). The cappuccino was huge and delicious. The server was great...answered any questions and if he didn't know, he asked the chef. The prices were what you would expect from a high end restaurant so didn't feel they were out of line. Perhaps the last review (2 years ago!!!) was based on turning up late ..... and almost looks like it was written by somebody who worked in a different Thai establishment. Great little cafe. A bit cramped inside but a varied menu and very reasonable prices. Probably the best clubhouse sandwich in town, comes with fries for 7.80$. Lunch specials (sandwich usually) also with fries or soup and a drink for 7$. I had the pulled pork sandwich last time, and for being as far away from southern as you can get, it was very good. Meat was moist on a white bun (a must), enough sauce, solid flavour and tangy. Even the cole slaw (I normally don't touch slaw) was excellent with just the right amount of vinegar. Service is prompt, friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast special as well, eggs, bacon/ham, hash browns, toast for around $5. Read more
