The restaurant is located just shy of chinatown on main in a less traffic area with plenty of access to street parking. We tried their spicy tuna belly roll, fried chicken wings and crispy market fish which was very moist inside We also had their chocolate cake and ovalatine creme brulee which was pretty good and so Asian. I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. The owner told me they have a tempura master who have been making tempura for 20 years! Ill definitely be back with my family and friends. Read more

We had dinner there this evening. I haven’t had Greek food for so long and decided to check out Minoas. I was really impressed with the friendly staff and fast service even though they were busy. We had Calamari, the lamb Kleftico and a vegetarian dish Imam Baldi which was delicious! We couldn’t finish it all so took the leftovers home for lunch tomorrow. We’ll definitely be coming back with family! Read more

I absolutely love this place. The food is quite good, the portion sizes are generous, the prices are right, and the service is always friendly. Speaking of portion sizes, I love their appetizers. They have some small appetizers which are priced relatively low which is wonderful. I don't want to spend 75% the cost of a meal for an appetizer so large that I'm not hungry for dinner any longer. Wish more places would offer appetizer portions like Amarosa. There is a wide selection available so you'd be hard pressed to find something you don't like. I'll be back. Read more

I was our first visit to this neighbourhood pub. It is a small restaurant with low ceilings and panelled in dark wood. The seating is very comfortable. The menu is small, however it offers something for everyone. We tried their signature dish "Oyster po' boy" ($15). It is served with a roasted tomato soup drizzled with rich basil oil.
