My family and I have been coming to Grog's for years now. It's a great place to come to enjoy friends, food, and have a laugh. The service at Grog's is unbelievable great! Everyone is so nice and brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. It is always a good idea to make reservations before going to Grog's because it is always busy, in a good way. The location is just outside of the Grand Bend Strip, about a 10 minute drive with a lot of parking. It's a great place to go after a long day at the beach. Now, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. It is always fresh and delicious. My favourite dish there is the panzarotti with their famous zany bread, which I highly recommend. All the dishes they have on the menu are prepared in a timely manager and it never disappoints. Grog’s is a great place to bring your family and friends and enjoy all the wonderful people and food. After years of eating at Under the Volcano we had another great meal once again. The margaritas are always good,as well as the chips and salsa before the meal. I tend to stick with the spicy foods whereas my wife prefers it relatively mild. My wife had the beef burrito and I the blackened chicken chimichanga (made extra hot). The desserts are fantastic but my favorite has to be the deep fried ice cream. The new location is still being settled into it seems but I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished. Read more

We had the best dining experience at lunch today. We spent the last two days in the hospital so we were in need of a good lunch. Stacey was phenomenal!!! It was pretty busy but she looked after us like were only patrons. She was very efficient and friendly. You can tell she enjoys her job as I watched smiling and laughing with everyone she was waiting on. She suggested the new cauliflower wings and they were to die for. I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park. Read more

In the fall of 2011, Berdan Paving prepared and completed a raised above-grade parking space alongside our carport / garage, in a space from which I had just removed a tree. The space was used successfully over the winter, and in the summer of 2012, we asked them to come back and pave the space. Pricing was excellent - we ended up paving not only the new space, but the main driveway as well. Berdan Paving coordinated with the municipal engineering office, as well as helping to verify the location of lot lines to ensure that there would be no encroachment issues with our neighbours.
