Some may or may not know, but Okasame is where you allow the chef to choose what you eat for that meal. I have been allowing the chef to pick for our dinner now when we go there. I found the chef is a really friendly person who likes to socialize with his guests. I hardly find places like this. I like the atmosphere there. It has traditional tatami rooms and decorated with japanese dolls and wall items. Which is hard to find in usual Japanese cuisines. I found the food quality to be great, although some might argue it is expensive. I do not find this place highly overpriced. I like quality rather than quantity. This is also why the chef has never served me sushi since you can eat that anywhere else (such as an All you can eat sushi). The appetizer which I usually have started off with is a dish which consists of 5 to 7 small dishes. It contained two different dishes of Japanese abalone. One of them was a softer texture, which tasted great. Another dish was shark fin, I found it unique since I usually drink in a soup. In stead this time I ate it as an appetizer dish. One of the ones I loved from this small dish appetizer was the small fishes one. They are white and small. They were soft and chewy. I loved this appetizers with its many different texture and favored dishes. One of the main entrees was the fresh fish which was served as sashmi first by using one side of the fish. The other half is cleverly decorated while you finish the sashmi. Afterwards the server will then take the second half for the chef to grill it. One fish with two different taste! I also tried the fresh clam served with lemon. Which was interesting how the lemon mixed with the clam perfectly. The texture was great to chew on. I found the crab sake rice to be great to. Since it is not your usual fried rice. Some people loved it whereas some females found it a bit to salty. Nevertheless It was good. Also the plum sake was sweet and perfect for ladies that don't like the regular sake. Overall, I will recommend this place to everyone! Read more

As an avid traveler, I have tried sushi in many states: California, Arizona, Florida, Maine, Nevada ... Nothing compares to Mitsui sushi. My boyfriend and I are always excited to get home and go to "our" place. The food is always fresh and consistent. The atmosphere could be improved but let's be honest, you're not going there for the ambiance. The food is so delicious you're not even paying attention to your suroundings. Not only does your food come fast, but it's been marinating for quite some time. This is how Indian food ( and Pakistani) is actually cooked. If you go to an Indian restaurant and you're waiting for an hour and a half for your dish thinking it's going to be fresh and that's how it's made, you're wrong. Indian food takes HOURS to make. The sauces and spices need time to sink into the meat, and they do exactly that at Tika house. The service is great, they're always on top of your water and they don't expect you to tip! People might complain about the atmosphere but the reason why they made the place like that is because in India and Pakistan the best tasting places are done up like Tika house so you can focus on the food instead of the decor. The washrooms are very nice though! Best Indian place in the city. Don't bother going anywhere else. Read more

I came with a big group of people so we ordered the set menu, which includes the Giant Lobster special, which is the best lobster I've ever eaten (I probably can't go back to small lobsters after this giant fellow) Peking Duck, Chinese vegetables, soup and many more. I've probably been here 3 or 4 times now. I keep coming back because the service is so good! Not to mention the food is fantastic (the complimentary crunchy soup is to die for). The last time I went, my table got the spider roll, seaweed salad, green dragon roll, spicy salmon roll, and some other roll (I can't remember the name). They were delicious! All was served in a sequential manner; we were served complimentary soup immediately as we sat down, then we ordered, after which we were served complimentary green salad while we waited for our rolls. We were never without food! With all that's included with the rolls, the value is really great. Although it's not too impressive from the outside, the inside is pretty good. It's not fancy, but very laid back. I took my grandmother here for her first sushi experience, and she loved it. I had such good service today, that I had to give these guys some publicity! This was my first time dining at a Korean restaurant so I was super excited. The place seemed very cozy. I loved the booths and their little curtains. We came here because it is my boyfriend's favourite Korean restaurant. I was very happy with our meal! I love noodles so I got ramyun, which isn't a special or difficult dish but I enjoyed it. The food came out very quickly and at a good temperature. My boyfriend loves their potato appetizer and I adore their sweet peanuts. We also got bulgogi, which was amazing! The portion was large, more than enough for the two of us and there was the perfect amount of sauce. The ladies who work there are nice and efficient as well. My first impression of Korean food was a positive one and I hoped to visit again. On my second time there, we ordered the combo my boyfriend raved about: soup, spicy diced chicken, 5 bottles of beer for $18 and dukboki (a dish I had been wanting to try). Again, the service was fast and the food was hot and tasted amazing. We ordered much more than we could finish so we happily took most of the meal home. I wish I could make a trip back here sooner!
