Adobo Experience

Fans of Filipino food are known to flock to Adobo Experience, which serves to capture the flavours and experience of Filipino food right here in the heart of Edmonton.

Originally founded in Calgary, Edmonton’s first Adobo location is owned and run by members of Edmonton’s Filipino community: Mary, Carlos, Joyce and Jay. Formerly a licensed practical nurse, Mary, one of the co-owners, changed careers to help open and run Adobo Experience. “Switching careers was very exciting and is very rewarding,” says Mary, who now gets to serve authentic Filipino food to the people of Edmonton. “We have a very rich culture and we want to share it with everyone, especially here in Canada.”
