I went into the store April 2019 to get a prescription for eyeglasses and received a prescription that was only usable in their store. I am on a limited income and I buy my glasses online and I have not been able to because I still do not have a usable prescription. I have got my prescriptions there in the past with no problem, but now they want you to shop in their store and nowhere else. They were somewhat rude and unhelpful when I tried to get this measurement after.
I purchased new lenses for my frames (progressive/transition) which came to close to $1000. Within 6 - 8 months, the lenses started to chip at the perimeter. I went back to see what could be done and the assistant said it was unusual, but since it was under a year, they would be replaced. When I went back, the owner (or head op) dealt with me in a less-than-pleasant manner. The chipping 'was not a defect', possibly I was'hard on my glasses' (at 66, I don't think so), and then implied that it was my fault because they were put into my old frames (a brand he carried - expensive European). Now it was the fault of the frame!!??!! Did he mention that when I originally ordered the new lenses? NO! He did not charge me, but I left with the feeling I had been intimidated and bullied. I do not recommend this business!
