According to TCM, you’re in good health when the life force referred to as “Qi” is in a state of balance. Qi is made up of the two interdependent extremes Yin and Yang. Disruption of these forces causes an imbalance and leads to illnesses like stress and anxiety, headaches, pain, and digestive disorders. It is believed that Qi flows along 14 major pathways/channels in your body known as meridians. The blockage or depletion of qi is what makes you ill.
