1st clue-we were the only ones in the restaurant.
2nd clue-the sizzling cast iron tandori plate had hot cabbage on the bottom but the chicken and 4 prawns were luke warm and bland.
3rd clue-the chai tea was warm and bland.
4th clue-the little sauces that accompany the tandori plate were watered down and bland.
Overall-had the impression that non-South Asians are considered to have no discerning palate. How would we know the chutneys were watered down, the meat had not been properly spiced and that chai is not just a brand name of a tea?
Oh yeah, we are just a butter chicken with gravy crowd, right?
