If you live in or anywhere near Edmonton and you love tea, then you need to visit The Tea Girl. Located in Edmonton near the corner of 124th Street and Stony Plain Road, there are almost 200 tea-related products to choose from, including white, yellow, green, oolong, black, Pu-erh, herbal, fruit, Rooibos and yerba mate – just to name a few.

“This place used to be called the Steeps Old Glenora, but I rebranded it to The Tea Girl last year,” explains owner Sarah “The Tea Girl” Proudlock. “Once you start to learn about tea, there’s so much more to learn and to grow with. It’s more than just a beverage. There’s a whole culture behind it.” There’s no doubt that an independently-owned teahouse is a game-changer among tea lovers in Edmonton, and their selection of food items and tea-themed gifts appeals to just about anyone.
