Worst service! The girl made me wait half an hour and then told me that there is another customer she needs to attend. This other person came later than me and had no appointment. She told me to come back the next day! Is this how they run their business? Deplorable!!

    New Management!!

This location is under new management so my daughter and I went. I have been in the past and thought it was dirty and didn't like how the technicians would talk to each other throughout my appointment in their home language. The atmosphere was always very awkward and uncomfortable. Well the new owners have cleaned everything and have strict tool cleaning policies and the atmosphere is great. I met the owner Kevin - he is from Vietnam and he actually did my nails and he did an awesome job. He told me all about his renovation plans and has new services and a whole new "menu" to choose from. The two female technicians knew exactly what crazy art my daughter wanted on her nails and they were both so friendly and welcoming. I watched as another couple had a pedicure and especially watched how they cleaned everything after. The couple seemed happy and I booked a pedicure for next week. If you have been before and not happy give it another try. You will really like Kevin and his team and you will be pleased with the results!! They take appointments as well as walk-ins and greet you with a smile!

    LOVE THIS PLACE

This Q-nails shop is one of the best in town I have been to! I noticed that they under new management so I thought try them and when I went there, the costumer service was great, the manicure and the pedicure surpassed my expectation. The shop so clean and the staff so sweet, i highly recommend to yours.

    Very Happy

I drove by this location and noticed a sign Under New Management, I thought i would try it again. (the first time I was disappointed in my visit). I was surprised to see the salon was clean and renovated. The staff are very friendly and make their customers feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

    Disappointing

A friend and I went to Q Nails last night for manicures. We had called ahead and made appointments for 6pm; we were told they were open until 8. The appointment started off well; the girl who was first doing my nails was friendly and did a great job with my cuticles. Other women were hovering over our table which was uncomfortable, but I assumed that perhaps the girl was new and was being supervised. After the lovely girl who had been doing my manicure finished the first coat of polish on one hand, she told me that someone else would be taking over because she was "faster." The second lady rapidly applied the second coat to my right hand, and both coats to my left hand, as well as the glitter polish for an accent nail on both ring fingers. Before she had finished with the top coat, another woman was asking me to pay immediately. My nails were too wet for me to pull my wallet from my purse, so the woman opened my purse, pulled out my wallet, took my card from my wallet... it was incredibly unprofessional and awkward. I was then seated at a nail drying station while women took money from the register and talked about getting pizza at Famoso next door. It became very clear as to why we were being brutally forced through the process... they wanted to close early and go for dinner! They let my nails dry for less than 5 minutes, and then my girlfriend and I were booted from the shop before 6:30pm with the farewell warning of "be careful with your nails, they are still wet." I spent the rest of my night sitting with my hands flat for fear of smudging. I went to bed FOUR hours later, and still woke up this morning with deep creases and smudges in my polish due to the rapid application. I will never go back or recommend Q Nails on 23rd Avenue to anybody. The only reason this review is getting more than one star is because my hands feel nice and my cuticles look good. I will likely be removing the polish tonight and going to a more professional nail salon later this week.
