I hired this local moving company to move me from a 2 bedroom apartment 6 blocks down the road into another 2 bedroom apartment. Everything was packed in moving boxes and ready to go when the 2 movers arrived at 9am in the morning. I had been quoted $99 per hour straight time which I figured would be fine as my previous movers only took 4 hours from a bigger distance.One of the movers seemed experienced and the second guy was a teenager that simply followed direction. I could tell that a problem was developing seeing that the truck wasnt loaded at the 3 hour mark and I should also mention that both apartments have elavators.I headed over to the new place waiting for the goods to be delivered and when finally all said and done slowly began trickeling in. There was a spell that nothing was coming in where I absolutely suspect lunch break was being taken on my dime which made me really upset. All said and done and we are talking 3pm in the afternoon meaning a 6 hour bill which was over $600 where the mover could tell I was very upset. It had taken these guys 2 hours longer then the previous company I dealt with and then Im not even talking about some of the damage to my musical gear which is significant. I would absolutely never recommend this company to anyone and at these prices you might as well get a professional moving company like Williams and get the job done right. Never again!!!
