Today I discovered that my battery was in need of replacement. I called Island Battery and they told me to come on in and they would change it out for me. I got there a couple hours later and was very impressed with the quality of their batteries. I have been around the automotive industry for over 55 years so I can recognize talent when I see it. They had me in and out in A 1/2 hr. I got a full replacement warranty for 30 months and the cost was most reasonable in comparison to the others.
All my very expensive camera batteries ended up dead through neglect. I called Peter to ask if there was anything I could do. He explained what happens but said to bring them in anyway. A few days later he called with the good news. Batteries restored! A courtesy. They have or can get any battery you may need. And they treat customers with kindness & respect. No need to look anywhere else.
We brought our RV there this morning as we needed new house batteries for our solar system. They sell Trojan batteries which from our experience are the only ones to get, as we find they last years longer than others. There isn’t much for parking a big rig like ours, but as we called ahead they requested we just park on the other side of the street and they would bring the batteries over and install them there. Peter is very friendly and knowledgeable as well as his assistant, James! Thank you!
