I called in last week to book a large party for my husband's 40th birthday. The lady who answered the phone lectured me on all the "rules" if i wanted to book the private room. Mandatory 15% gratuity tacked on to the bills, only allowed to order certain menu items "because they do have other customers to serve, you know"and they charge $2 per person if you bring your own cake or pay $90 for one of their cakes. The woman was very rude and condescending. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I will never again go or suggest this place to friends. Way to go Maxime's! You just lost out on a lot of money. The party was for 40 people.
