Murphy's Camping on the Ocean

Our worst camping experience. Our picnic table was rotten unacceptable. Tent sites are so small we could barely put tent up and get truck parked. Neighbors were so close we spent the night listening to them snore. This campground shows neglect and needs major upgrading.

I Visited this Campground as a Teenager and My friends and I had some complications which i decided to set aside and try this again but my boyfriend, my son and I visited this camp ground over the weekend. I reserved a site with power and water and with a view of the playground from the site, when we arrived we were told that our "reservation" had been bumped for a massive trailer. So one of the owners proceeded to tell us that we were going to be sharing 3 sites with another family to accommodate our big tents. So my boyfriend and I compromised and begun unpacking a car load and setting up. There was no kindling at all and it was misty and rainy. No fire, no power, no water. These people have a million rules of which none are followed especially quiet time which was supposed to be at 11pm. The music did not stop till near 2 am. Forget seeing the playground, there were trailers surround all sides. One woman even told me to be quiet when i was trying to reprimand my son at the playground. (i was the only parent near the children most times) and it states very clearly IN the rules no unsupervised children. I am really disappointed because this was my sons first camping trip. The truth is, I went there to get away from the city and in reality the campground was overrun and understaffed and more noisy that where I live so we ended up packing up and coming home a day early, we decided not to ask for a refund because obviously they need the 30 $ to pay someone to be security. PS the photos are outdated and you can just picture those 4 RVs times 10. sorry Bryan and Marilyn you can't delete this one... lol (they deleted this comment from Facebook because it wasn't a good one...)
