    Newly renovated, ...

    Newly renovated, very clean rooms. Nice beach, paddle boat and canoe included in my rental!!! very nice people!!!

    This roadside restaurant is set well back in from Hwy 35, about 10 minutes north of Norland. It is noted for its weekend All you can eat Roast Beef dinners. Our experience here has been from good to so-so meals. But places to dine out in this area are limited. This place usually draws a crowd to its licensed restaurant and bar with the big screen TV for sporting events. The dining room in back has antiques and a screened porch looking towards the river - nice on a hot summer evening. It can be popular for family gatherings. Reservations are sometimes recommended. A small Motel is next to the large renovated house where this bar and restaurant resides. Lots of free parking next to restaurant. Boats can be launched from their private beach for a small fee as well.
