    Paid my deposit and come moving day they arrived perfectly on time. There were 4 fellows but was assured I was only paying for 3. The three young helpers were awesome. My issue when it was time for them to leave and travel to my new home. I gave him my address yet 2 1/2 hours later they show up at the new place. I was then billed for the 2 hours they were MIA. They do not respond to the emails sking for this to be corrected.

    I called Jesse twice in order to make sure movers show up on time as I have strict condo rules and time slot for moving in. Movers showed up 4 hours late. As a result The Board of Directors is charging me a fee. Not accounting for a stress I had that the elevator would not be available. Despite the fact that Grand River Moving charged me $1000 above the quote they refused to provide with any discount. Avoid this company.

    Showed up 4 hours late,had to postpone for 2 days later. When I tried to get compensation,they resorted to insults.after numerous emails,this was the final email I received from them.. "Leave us alone. If you weren't so ignorant you would have already been reimbursed as it was purely a favor from us for the inconvenience. Not something covered by insurance therefore we were/are in no way obligated. You've now lost the opportunity by being so incredibly disrespectful. *super professional, right?

    This is an extremly unprofessional company. They were late from start to finish. The packing that they did was disorganized and chaotic. Boxes were not labelled or labelled incorrectly. They damaged furniture, lost things and some things just didnt show up. Efforts to reach them have been futile. Use this company at your won peril.

    Awful customer service. They moved my parents from Kitchener to Cambridge and damaged many pieces of their furniture. Its been weeks trying to get Jesse to do anything or return my calls. Broke a leg off the side table, broke the whole computer desk, took chunks out of makeup table, dresser and highboy, scratched the dining table top and several chairs. They are a terrible company to work with. Save yourself the headache and heartache. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

    I used Grand River Moving 2 years ago and kept meaning to submit a review because these guys were awesome! Nick was the driver and Alex and Steve assisted with my move as well. They were very friendly, prompt and careful with my belongings. I highly recommend them.

    Booked them to move two houses - Kitchener & Guelph into a condo. Selected them because the estimate for hours and materials was 25% lower than the other big guys, and they came in on estimate. 2 lamps that got broken during storage were compensated fairly. The 3 teams that moved us were friendly and efficient. All-in-all, well pleased, and would recommend them.

    Supposed to arrive between 8:30 and 9 but came at 11. Worked hard but there was some showboating going on and 2 items were damaged. Company will not compensate and just said it happens. Read the fine print. When they say certain items are not covered, they mean it, even if they are negligent and damage your brand new large screen TV.

    We hired Grand River Moving to move us to our new house. We had much more to move than they we informed of. The 3 guys worked unbelievably hard and managed to get everything moved that day. I cant say enough about how good this company is.

    Unbelievable service. I cannot say enough about how great the entire staff was. From Lee to Tiffany and of course Chad, Corey and Ray. Professional, courteous and contentious.

    Said would be 1hr late, ended up being 4. Then instead of GRM showing up late, they sent an unqualified company to do their job! WITHOUT INFORMING US 1st! took over 9hrs to do job quoted 3.5 (by 3 companies!) We hired GRM to move large pieces of furniture that we didn't want unqualified people to move- hence, hiring so called professionals?EVERY PIECE was damaged. Veneers ruined, gouges out of pieces, scratches in wood & Walls, gouges out of drywall, flooring...I would NOT recommend!

    Don't ever use this company!

    Our quote was for $1800 and by the time they were done moving us 11 hours later (for a local move) it cost us $2400 and we had to wait an additional day to get the rest of our furniture as their estimater had not done his job correctly and had setup the wrong size truck and not enough movers for us. My husband had to end up helping unload the truck at 130 in the am.

    Not sure who this is and do not know how long this is up. There may have been good reason why it took longer. Most moves we do guarantee to be within 10 percent or flat rate and there probably was a reason why this move did not have a guarantee.
