My wife and I stopped in at Howl at he moon Friday Sept 2, 2011. We both ordered the one piece fish and chips as it was a special for 9.99. The waitress was very young,unprofessional and a little unfriendly. The fish portion was quite small and was overdone. The fries were ok. It was served with a little dish of mayonnaise in place of tarter sauce.

the poutine was delisious and you get a large serving for a very low price!, also split an appitizer...it was a platter of different things, came with mozzerella sticks, breaded muhrooms, spinach cheese dip with pita triangles and different coloured tortillija chips for dipping, also garlic bread, and possibly somthing else but i cant seem to remember! lol... it was very good tho!!! (escpecially if you enjoy deep fried things)...and id have to say it was my favourite spinach cheese dip ever!! plus you get alot!! we left with leftovers and a very full stomch! :)
the pop however was not free refill, i beleive, so that was the only downside......and i hear the wings are also amazing so im actually going there tonight! cant wait! :)

i live right in the area so i have been here many times but the restaurant had changed owners and names a few times, i had ordered the chicken Parmesan with a baked potato and steamed veggies, my potato was as hard as a rock and the vegetables were so steamed they shriveled and tasted even worse, as far as dining experience..dont go here, but if u wanna hang at a bar its not bad.
The food was terrible, the cooks did my order totally wrong! The chefs have no clue how to make a real meal! The timing was bad too! I wont be coming back.
We frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. The food is standard fare, but there is always plenty of it. The cajun wings and nachos are a favourite!
My biggest complaint is how dirty it always is. I don't think they clean the window sills or under the tables. It's quite gross actually and I hate when my kids want to crawl under there and pick up stuff they've dropped.
At first i was a bit reluctant to try this place because it doesn't look very good from the outside but when you walk inside, it's pretty nice!
Both of us ordered a dinner dish, which included soup, bread and then a huge plate The french onion soup was good and standard. The bread, well, it was really buttery, like, it was sitting in a pool of melted butter. It tasted good but the appearance of so much butter was slightly unappealing. My fish was ok, but there was too much crust and not enough fish. The baked potato i got was ok. The side veggies weren't that great. It was chopped up onions, peppers, broccoli and cauliflower with lots of herbs, which was just too much going on and wasn't a good presentation of the veggies. My boyfriend's schnitzel was actually two layers of meat covered with cheese and he couldn't finish his plate, which almost never happens. We both had enough for dinner the next night.

I loved the Antijitos, they cut them in small waifers, so it felt like there were a lot more then what you normally get at other places.
The chicken parm was good, but not the best I've ever had. The chicken was a little to thick for my liking. But it tasted good.
The waitress wasn't very talkative, and I don't think I saw her smile at all the entire time.
The club sandwich was good although not the best one I ever had. I ordered a salad with the sandwich and it was good. The portions were a fair size. The service was somewhat unfriendly as well. Overall not a bad experience and I'll probably go back if I was in dire need of some good bar food.
best place in town to get what you pay for and more. Entrees come with a small (but looks like a large) salad and a homeloaf, for as low as 9.99. I always need to get my meals packed up. There is no way to get into roxxannes from the restaurant. The door that does lead there is always locked and must be as it is a legal issue. A child is not capable of walking into the door, if that was possible don't you think they would stop checking ids at the main door.
Everything at this place is greet from service to desserts, I always go back.
Server was pleasant. Food was greasy. Tooke 45 min, to have food delivered at at time when the place was not busy. Arrived at 1:45 in the afternoon, finally received order @ 2:30. Went there as suggested by a co-worker. Won't do that again. Waitress was pleasant but made no apologies for the delay on the meal.

The Richards Red has a consistent taste to it (i've been to othter resturants in town, and it's not the same...I know that I can go there and enjoy the Red on tap)
Seeing as my co-workers and I are regulars and ALSWAYS tip well, we never have a problem with service.
Love eating there, and will eat there every wednesday until they stop the burger special.
I eat here all the time. Once in a while you wait a little long for food but it's well worth it. Caesar salad one of the best in town. They have specials everyday which are very reasonable - kids never leave hungry. Waitresses are cute and you cannot "accidentally" walk into the strip club next door - the door is bolted closed.

the food has always been very good, selection on the menu is also great. The only complaint the last three times we've been here is with the service. There are usually plenty of staff on hand but hardly any are there to actually serve you it seems. We had to ask three times for a glass of water, there were three bills to be delivered to the table & only two were sent, we had to ask for ours then wait another 10 minutes for it to arrive.We had a toddler with us & I had to get up to look for the kids menu.The food is great but the service really sucks.

Have been to Howl at the Moon many times. One of the best deals in the city... especially the sandwiches. Excellent quality, good portion size.. at a reasonable price. Pasta is usually excellent as well.
For those who don't realize that a exotic dance bar is on the other side... you are an idiot.
2.75 burgers Wednesdays, cheap wings too!. Servers are cute, service can range from a rating of 3-9 depending on who you get. After a few beers you want to hit the strip club next door which is a plus.
If you have kids, leave them home.

One of my top 3 places to eat. Excellent food and very friendly and polite staff. Every singal girl working was smiling and full of energy. Best ceasar salad ive ever had and big portions as well :)
This place has alot of different dishes. Some german dishes, some pastas. I had the schnitzel which was good. Not many places that sell in a restaurant that type of dish. So it was much enjoyed.
