Hidden Gem

Amazing service and a great meal! your order is made fresh right in front of you while George or Jenny talk and get to know you! They are great people who provide a great meal at a great price! I was very happy to see the portion I got for the price I paid!

A modest but good deli

Nice little place. The selection is limited, but the food is good and cheap, and George and the gang are friendly. It's a cafeteria, so adjust your expectations.

Wonderful!

I recently started working nearby and have visited New Amsterdam Cafe a few times. The owners, George and Jenny, tell me they've been there 22 years. Obviously any restaurant that has survived that long is doing something right! Very friendly service, great food, and nice atmosphere.
