Food is incredible. My Wife and I attend Maison at least twice a month. We introduced this place to some friends who have since become regulars like us. I agree: not all waiters are overly pleasant and some things you order get lost in transit. Here is some advice: dont be shy to flag a waiter down and remind them. I dont understand why people are so sensitive. Or maybe intimidated by foreign cultures? Get over it and enjoy the meal. Also keep the price in mind, and that this place gets extremely busy. Arctic rolls are awesome, as is the Black Pepper Beef (loaded with garlic), very tasty indeed. All ingredients are consistently fresh and delicious. Maison Du Japon gets good reviews because it IS good.

yo can't go wrong with this place. 11.99 for all you can eat is awsome. Includes everything. The only things I dont like is that they bring all your orders separately instead of one big dish, but i guess its just a preference. The service staff can be a bit nicer but otherwise I go back on a weekly basis.

The restaurant was OK...some of the servers were rude. You gotta wonder about all these great reviews on this restaurant....do these people work for the restaurant or have some sort of invested interest in this place? I think the opinions are quite skewed and biased.

I've been to Maison du Japon two times and each time the staff has been friendly, helpful and very courteous. [To Christy: The waiters & owner there are Chinese- maybe you got the wrong restaurant?] When the owner saw that we were taking so long to come up with our orders, she went up to us and gave many suggestions- she also answered a billion questions from the kids with a lot of patience. Sometimes we had to order the same thing twice because it didn't come, but that's about the only drawback. As for the food, it was excellent! They were very delicious and well prepared. It came very fast too. Unfortunately, I am not happy about the English menu- there are some items in romanized japanese that I had no idea what they were. I suggest maybe a little description... Also, the specialty rolls (eg. dragon rolls) only come in sets of four pieces. I distinctly remember the first time I went that they would serve it with more (like in the shape of a dragon). Overall, this restaurant is definitely a great place to go to- especially for groups, since there's enough room. The food and service is wonderful. I will definitely go there again.

It was great. Everything is great at his place, we go there every saturday with my friends. We are obsessed about the food there. Great service (fast), great food (lots)
