Special Event I - First Course MENU - Alioli Ristorante
I had only heard of amazing comments about this restaurant from colleges and friends and decided to try it out for night out with friends 2 male, 3 female. Amazing, we were greeted with warm, mentioned we had 5 people, the place was packed and they squeezed us in at alovely table for 6. We were greeted by a friendly and personable waiter who introduced the specials with flare, my wife laughed at his humour. We ordered after recieving our drinks. The chef prepaired a wonderful antipasto for us that we really enjoyed, the main came and we all were delighted in the fish and pasta. WONDERFUL.
We will be back again and again...Thank you for an enjoyable evening from a great restaurant.
I couldn't agree more with the complains about this restaurant. I called to book a reservation a week in advance. The date and time of my reservation was perfectly clear when I initially called, and I even re-capped the information before I hung up. The person who took my initial reservation was extremely rude. I asked for a table to the side, and I recieved a snide remark about how if someone has 2 glasses of wine how are they supposed to be controlled, so a table to the side will not help with noise ...(if I wanted to eat somewhere that quiet, I certainly would not be going to a restaurant for that). I put up with the attitude, and left my Saturday reservations as is.
On Friday evening I recieved a call to confirm my reservation (which was 15 minutes late, had I actually booked for the Friday), but I stated my reservation was for Saturday. The man on the phone was so terribly rude and unaccomodating. He told me they had nothing and was so rude and kept asking me what I wanted him to do. I asked him politely if they could fit my party in at 7 or 7:30 and he said no (what is the point of asking what I want them to do if they could do nothing for me). He told me to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else - which is what I did. I am mortified that in this day and age customer service is so terrible, and I agree that the owners do not care one bit about their reputation. I will never return back to this restaurant, and I certainly do not recommend it. Go somewhere where your business is actually appreciated, as opposed to a rude, money-hungry place with no sense of customer service.
The service at this restaurant is astonishingly horrible. It is quite evident that the owners and staff do not care about their clients (returning and new). They are the rudest people and I strongly advise against visiting this place ever, at least if you are looking for a nice, enjoyable meal. They are inattentive. do not listen to customers requests, and I am very curious how they are still in business. I saw an article about their bad service the other day, so I can see many feel the same way.
I always enjoy eating here. There are limited number of good restaurants in Mississauga and this is one of the good ones. I been here many times for birthdays and other celebrations and every enjoy the menu. The food is very good overall. The service is good but when it's busy, it suffers just a bit but that seems to be most places. It's a lively atmosphere. The tables are closer together so it can be loud so best for birthdays. If you want romantic dinner for two, you might not have the ambiance you want.
We just finished our corporate dinner and received raves from all our partners on Alioli as a venue, the food, waiters, thank you Zak and David. The cuisine was perfect for the evening, the patio is inviting, love the new appearance. Overall a great restaurant and evening
