I've been here many times. The food is always solid (apart from one incident with some scallops being a bit off, which was quickly fixed by helpful staff). I like the ambiance and decor, the only real problem I have is that the wait staff, while usually very friendly is sometimes slow, inefficient or even occasionally incorrect when it comes to delivering meals to patrons. If you don't mind a medium wait for service and the occasional correction to your order, this is a nice place. Great authentic Cajun food (my friend from New Orleans makes me take him whenever he comes to town.)

oh and the mondo burger, wow wow wow wow, best burg out there hands down, and to think the first time we asked about it, the waitress said, "oh it's just a burger" that were her exact words.

We really enjoyed the fact that hot bellys, when phoning for a reservation took our large party even though their policy is, on weekend no groups over ten, even on the phone the people were polite and accomidating. When we arrived we realized quickly that we would not have one server alone, as they seemingly share tables. The experiance, what with multiple faces and the quick service was quite unique, as in many resterants we have dinned, we wait for drinks longer than we wish , and food even longer. We had came in on a really busy evening and the wait was slight yet food and drinks arrived to our table quite promptly, or even more so than expected, and it was fabulous. We have since returned back and enjoyed all elements as it is a truely authentic and wounderful place to dine.
If you have ever been in the South East United States for BBQ or soul food than you would appreciate this place. The decor will definitely start you off in the right direction mixed in with an awesome juke box with some of the best and obscure blues, jazz, reggae, and soul. If you are wanting fine dining than go out and pay for it. This is soul food at a reasonable price done right in a comfortable atmosphere. My date and I will definitely come back!
