Low stress handling, distraction techniques, minimal restraint exams, Feliway and Adaptil diffusers are a few of the methods we use routinely. We also offer clients the option to be present while their pet is being sedated for surgical procedures and waking up from surgical procedures. Our team is happy to tailor an exam to suit the needs of your pet, whatever they might be. Most of our patients can’t wait to come through the door to see us again.

We make our patients feel at home! At Sherbrooke Heights Animal Hospital we practice a high level of nursing care to ensure that our patients are as comfortable as possible during their stay here. Patients are provided with warm towels and heating blankets after surgery, anti-nausea medication if needed and also medication for anxiety if they are an anxious pet. Animals that are hospitalized are taken outside for walks, given food and lots of love and attention! We only perform a few procedures each day so that we can spend extra time reassuring an anxious patient, closely monitoring patients in recovery and providing excellent nursing care and TLC!
