This is the best fish and chip restaurant ever...

This is the best fish and chip restaurant ever! Their batter is so yummy ... we're addicted! We always stop there for our halibut and chip fix. This is a small, family run restaurant with limited seating. There has been some attempt made at a nautical themed decor with photos of large vessels on Georgian Bay and the regular fish net stuff; it's not a professional decorating job but we we came to eat their great halibut & chips. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stop to eat there whenever we're in Stayner. If you want real tasty fish and chips ... head on over to Bluewater Fish & Chips ... you won't be sorry.

We were introduced to this restaurant a few...

We were introduced to this restaurant a few months ago and whenever we're in Stayner we stop for lunch. The portion size is perfect and the fish is absolutely the very best battered fish anywhere! The coating is light and whatever oil they use is heated to give the batter a very light colour. The service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is all down home! Nothing fancy, but certainly worth the drive.

The fish, fries and onion rings were good. The shrimp was not bad. Service was very good and the drinks came with the meal and the server brought us refills without being asked. The place was clean and we sat at the counter which was cool. The total for the 2 dinners with a side of shrimp was $32.00.
