My wife and I went for dinner on Oct.7/10. The decor is very nice in the restaurant and has two levels. The service is fast and friendly. The food continues to be very good and we have yet to be disappointed. My wife's lobster dinner was cooked to perfection and my steak was tender and cooked as I had requested.
We will return.
Went to the Golden valley to celebrate my birthday. The food was EXCELLENT!!! Couldn't have asked for a better steak. All of our orders were cooked to perfection. Greek salad, and caesar salad..best in town. Nicely surprised at the end of dinner, waitress brought me a piece of strawberry shortcake, with a candle to say happy birthday! The only thing negative that I could say would be that the restaurant could use some updating in decor. I felt like I was back in the 80's.
went here on valenties for dinner and had a really good experience. every thing was cooked very well and the portions were awesome I had asked for a blue martini and had goten just a regular one instead I told the waitress that I asked for a blue one and she said no mam you did not. I said Yes I did and husband had said that I did. The lady at the next table who I did not even know said that she heard me say it. the waitress had said were out of the blue stuff. I got mad becasue she called me a lier in a sence..I did not drink my drink I did not like how strong it was and it did not even have the olives in it.
some people need to pay attention in this place
This was our first visit to Golden Valley. The decor is open concept with 2 floors and it is very elegant and nicely laid out. We had a table for two on the 2nd floor (too bad the piano player was off sick). Comfortable chairs, but if I had to say anything negative, it would be that the table was just too small. Next visit we will ask for a booth. The waitress was very good and took our drink order shortly after we sat down and was very prompt with our entire meal. The food was very good with the steak being very tender and the shrimp were tasty. The baked potato and veggies were cooked perfectly. My wife's lobster tail was so good she later wished she had ordered 2. The Caesar salad was excellent and not to be missed!
This restaurant is one of the better ones in the Belleville/Trenton area. We will definitely return.
